Day 4 Monday Grasmere to Patterdale

Charming Poles have taken over the leisure industry in Grasmere. The only time you see an indigenous person is when you have to part with cash.

Planned a steady day and that is how it worked out. Just 8 miles out of one valley over the top, past Grisdale Tarn, and down the other side and into Patterdale.

No aches, no blisters.

If you ever venture to Patterdale stay at The Grisedale Lodge Guest House, it is superb.

Big day tomorrow, setting off very early. Then we are out of the lakes and all the big climbs are behind us.
Just a gentle stroll to Robin Hood's Bay!!!!!!

  1. Doing well you are. And being kind the weather still is. Keep on Trekking.
    PS
Is your photographer travelling with you or do you just rope in innocent passers by??

Hope you are having a great trip.
